On this site you will find play along music designed to help young music students learn to play their instruments - from the verybeginning!
From this site you can download sheet music (pdf-files) and respective "sound music" (mp3-files). Once downloaded you can play the sheet music on your instrument along with the mp3-music, which contains the melody you are playing + accompaniment.
This music is extremely useful for anyone who is learning to play a wind instrument!
Music teachers and music students will find this play-along music very helpful as a supplement to the teaching book. With this music there will always be songs to play, arranged in a slow progression, suiting the student's development and progress of playing.
New and unique concept!
The unique and strong point of this play-along concept is the systematic progression; the first little piece is very easy (absolute beginner) and then the following songs little by little become less easy throughout (extending the range of notes, increasing tempo, rythmic extension and so on). You start with song no. 1 and proceed with the successive numbers, almost like a teaching book.
The songs are numbered from 1 to 75 (more will follow) which makes it easy to keep (and play) them in (the right) order.
The music is short tunes, many of which are children songs and folk songs from different countries, and other well known melodies. It is designed especially to train and teach children play an instrument. Reading and playing notes while hearing the corresponding music is a highly effective way of learning music ("Learning By Playing").
How to buy
We have made packages with 25 songs in each package, containing both the "sound music" (mp3-files) and the sheet music (pdf-files) for all of the 25 songs.
Each package cost $9.95 USD (click here to calculate in any currency).
Go to the page for the instrument you are interested in (submenu under the 'Products' button). Choose which package(s) you wish to buy and do the payment. When the payment is accepted you will get access to a new page with the download link(s) for the package(s) you bought.
The sheet music is free, and you can download all 75 songs if you like (the sheet music is also included in the packages, though). You'll find download links on the 'Products' page, where you also can hear examples of the music.

The author of our Play Along Music, Mr. Knut G. Flem, is a highly experienced music teacher and arranger of music, and the play-along-music you will find on this site is based on more than twenty years as a music teacher and arranger.
